Since the race’s inception in 2015 – which marked Cadel Evans’ final professional race – the Great Ocean Road Race has been Victoria’s pinnacle of cycling events.
Be there in 2025 to see the pros battle it out in the first UCI WorldTour One-Day Classics of the season, and pedal the picturesque roads yourself in the TAC People’s Ride and the GeelongPort Family Ride.

Geelong
Geelong and the Bellarine combine charming coastal villages with a lively and evolving waterfront precinct. The must-see region transforms into a cycling mecca each year in late January.
The Great Ocean Road
Home to the towering 12 Apostles, iconic surf breaks, pristine rainforest, gourmet food trails and an abundance of native wildlife. In this part of the world, thereโs no shortage of outdoor adventures โ from cycling, bushwalking, surfing, mountain biking and much more.
Barwon Heads and the Bellarine
Cadelโs Australian home base, Barwon Heads, famously painted itself yellow when he won the 2011 Tour de France! Here, you can soak up the coastal scenery all year round, thereโs a beach for every occasion and three of Australiaโs Top 50 public access courses.
Torquay and Bells Beach
This is the surfing capital of Australia and home to the longest running surf competition in the world, the Rip Curl Pro. Whether youโre chasing big swell or splashing about with the family at the more protected front beach, thereโs water activities aplenty in Torquay.

Due to an exceptional number of registrations, there will now be two session times to ensure the safety of all participants and an enjoyable experience for all.
